Verticle Transportation Replacement
Atrium Elevator Wall Cosmetic Upgrade
The Atlanta Airlines Terminal Corporation's commitment to maintain a world class facility is evident in the cosmetic upgrades taking place throughout the facility. We have continually challenged the limits of imagination and materials to bring the overall vision to life. The recent completion of the granite application in the Atrium is an example of just how flexible a granite finish can be as it wraps around curves and corners.
E Concourse Upgrades
The Atlanta Airlines Terminal Corporation's commitment to maintain a world class facility is evident in the cosmetic upgrades taking place on Concourse E. We have been replacing drywall and ceiling tiles in the main lobby, completing granite work, hanging sheetrock in the vestibules and finishing. All work in the north corridor will be completed by mid summer. Wall, ceiling, and finish upgrades on levels 1&3 are also underway and will augment the rejuvenation effort.
Water Conservation
The Atlanta Airlines Terminal Corporation is commitment to reducing costs and conserving resources wherever possible. In addition to our daily efforts to reduce costs and conserve
resources in May of 2008 we we began an
initiative to replace all inefficient toilets in the
facility with low water high efficiency units. To
date we have replaced 1286 of the 1382 unites identified as inefficient.
D Concourse Roof Replacement
The Atlanta Airlines Terminal Corporation is diligently working to replace the 123,000 sf 30-year old coal tar pitch roof system with TPO roof membrane system roof on Concourse D. The Project which started in January 2009 is scheduled to be finished in mid-summer 2009. Although the project scope is expansive, AATC in cooperation with its contractors and business partners coordinate our efforts to install a roofing system that will last another 30 years.
Terminal Chiller Replacement Project
The Atlanta Airlines Terminal Corporation in partnership with the city of Atlanta are currently replaceing the nearly 30-year old steam powered chillers with modern and more effecient electric powered chillers. This chiller upgrade will save money, reduce emissions, and save water thus further minimizing our enviromental footprint.
